I am an adult who is 18-24 years old. What course am I required to take?

Texas State law requires for all adults aged 18-24 years old to take the 6 hour adult classroom course. Book your seat at Spring Driving School today!

I am an adult who is older than 24 years old, but I still want to enroll in the 6 hour adult course to learn all of the road signs and rules necessary to understand in order to drive. Can I still enroll?

Of course! Spring Driving School strives to educate everyone within the realm of driving, even if they are not required by law. The one time 6 hour class helps a lot of our students in the long run to be the brightest and safest that there is on the road!

What do I need to take to the DPS to get my Learner's License?

For adults, the following are required to be taken to the DPS to obtain the Learner's License:

ADE-1317 Certificate (half green sheet) that shows the student has passed the Permit Test in class with us
Birth Certificate (original or certified, not a copy)
Social Security Card (must take the card)
Driver License Application (filled out at DPS)
Proof of Residency Form

After I take the 6 hour course, when can I take the road test?

As soon as you get your permit, you are able to schedule for your road test. This can be the very next day!

I am an adult and I already have a permit. Am I ready to do the road test?

If you are an adult with a permit already, you can schedule for the soonest road test and be on the road sooner than ever!

The Impact Video is a required video for all individuals regardless of age prior to the Road Test.
